5785 High Holiday Ticket and Registration

Thank you for your interest in Narayever High Holiday services at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre.

The main services will be led by Rabbi Ed Elkin at the MNJCC where, once again, the gym will be transformed into a warm and inviting place of worship.

On Rosh Hashanah Day I and Yom Kippur Day, Family Services will be led by Fran Sharpe and on Kol Nidre by Marcia Beck with Carly Prusky (Director of Family and Youth Engagement) and wonderful parent and teen volunteers. These services are designed for children ages 0 to 12 and their families. 

On Rosh Hashanah Day II, Sarah Colman will be lead Beyachad Bachootz, an outdoor all-ages service in the MNJCC playground where we will come together as a community to transform the outdoors into a sacred space.  At the same time, Carly Prusky will lead a Family Program for children ages 8 and under for parents and children to enjoy together. 

Please keep in mind that children are warmly welcome at all High Holiday services.

As we did last year, a link to the audio of our High Holiday services in the MNJCC gym will be made available for those who need to stay at home. However, we strongly encourage those that are able to take the opportunity to join the community in-person, and be surrounded by others as we reaffirm our Jewish traditions.

Double members only need to fill out this registration form once. The same answers will be applied to both members in the account.

  2. Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur Services  

Members have to choice to attend services either at the shul on Brunswick or at the MNJCC. The MNJCC services in the gym will be led by Rabbi Elkin. The services at the shul will be led by Ruth Rohn, Director of Tefillah Leadership and Education. Capacity at the shul is limited, so please sign up early to reserve your seats. All registrants (regardless of location) will also receive the audio link to the MNJCC services.

Please Note: Rosh Hashanah Day II and Mincha/Neila services at the conclusion of Yom Kippur will be held at the MNJCC ONLY. There will not be services at the shul for those two sessions.

There is no need to sign up for individual sessions. You may attend any and all of the services and programs.

  3. Audio Live-Stream of Services  

An audio-only live stream of all services held in the MNJCC gym will be available for those who will not be attending in-person.

  3. Tickets for Members' Children (25 and under)  

There is no charge for pre-B.Mitzvah age children of members to attend High Holiday services or programs, though we still ask that you register them if they are attending with you.

High Holiday tickets for your children age 14-25 (who remain under their parent(s) membership and not members in their own right) must be purchased. Everyone is welcome to attend any of the full services and the family services. Children ages 2-8 years are welcome to make use of babysitting, and the Youth Lounge is available for children 8 and up.

Membership Opportunity!! Young adults 18 years of age and older are eligible to apply for their own membership (($72 for age 18-25), in which case their High Holiday tickets would be included. Please contact the office for more information about this exciting new membership category.

Do you need any tickets for your children 25 years old and under?

Children are pre- bar/bat mitzvah. There is no charge for tickets for this age group.

Young Adults are post- bar/bat mitzvah through age 25. Tickets are $60 each.

  4. Tickets for Guests  

Do you need any tickets for guests? This can include friends, your adult children over 25 years old, grandchildren or other family members, etc.

High Holiday Tickets for your Guests

For both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Tickets are $270 each.

For Rosh Hashanah only. Tickets are $170 each.

For Yom Kippur only. Tickets are $170 each.

Children are pre- bar/bat mitzvah. Tickets $60 each.

Young Adults age 14 through 25. Tickets are $80 each.

Young adults age 26 through 36. Tickets are $115 each.

  3. Tickets for Members' Children (25 and under)  

There is no charge for your pre-B.Mitzvah age children to attend High Holiday services or programs, though we still ask that you register them if they are attending with you.
